YOU ARE HERE NOW / It’s Coming Home

No not that. I recently came home from a few days away. Back to sunshine, friends, and no holiday blues, just a real appreciation of how lucky we are to live in this part of the world.

OK, MAYBE WORTHING isn’t ‘THE best place to live this side of a desert island with a free bar’, a bit of a bold statement we made in the launch issue of Here & Now, but it is a bit special, made more so by the people who are creating opportunities and events that make our lovely town a better place to live.

One such event is the recent Worthing Pride 2018. A stunning day, the seafront was buzzing with happy people, congratulations to the organisers for putting on a fun, well organised day. The same day, a colleague enjoying a late evening meal at a seafront bar sent photos to friends who asked if he was on holiday abroad. The bar wasn’t free, but he’s a firm believer that Worthing is one of the best places to live too.

If you are on a staycation this Summer, here’s a few events we’ve picked out from the listings.
