BROSIS, RICHMOND RD
This latest addition to the Worthing cafe culture scene serves an array of breakfast and lunch staples, often with a traditional Turkish flavour. Run by brother and sister Meet and Merve, the super-friendly team is happy to cater for gluten-free or vegan requirements.
The creative minds behind We Are Mountain and Twits of Twitten are taking over Inspired By The Sea. They’re promising an explosion of colour down on the prom with a shop full of work from lovely local artists.
CONSCIOUS COW, SOUTH FARM RD
Parking up their trailer for something a little more permanent, this popular vegan business will be the place to grab plastic-free organic produce including drinks, snacks and whole food. Plans include a kids’ playroom, classes, talks and taster evenings, pop-ups and more.
FOUND SHOP & STUDIO
Tucked away on Gratwicke Road in Worthing’s West End, this sunny yellow shop run by local artist Anna Vartiainen will be dedicated to selling work by artists, printmakers and illustrators from the area, as well as running small art workshops.
This all-day cafe promising handcrafted doughnuts and artisan coffee will soon be opening on South Street. You can even design your own donuts!
Finally, you’ll be able to satisfy your Halloumilicious craving whenever you want. Pop along to their street kitchen on Warwick Lane from the end of October and treat yourself to the famous rainbow bagel (if you haven’t already).
Expanding into the old Aqua premises, Pomodoro will be decamping from Warwick Street but promises the same delicious Italian food, friendly service and great prices from their new site on Chapel Road.
THE ARTISANS PANTRY
There’s change afoot at this fab vegan/veggie cafe, as they move to become a commercial kitchen supplying cafes, delis and catering. There’s talk of a kids’ vegan cookery school too. In the meantime, check out their pop-up Christmas shop opening this month.
