Opened back in July, this cracking micro pub has an impeccable pedigree as owners Mike and Jo previously worked at Brooksteed and the Georgi Fin. Expect a delicious selection of ales, beers and cider in cask, keg and cans, alongside cheese and wine pairings, slap-up breakfasts and a handy takeaway service. SHELLFISH SHACK

Proper old-fashioned shellfish stall selling everything from tubs of whelks to slippery oysters which has recently made it up to the Wednesday market in town. They’ve been attracting droves of hungry punters to their weekend pitch on the prom over the summer months. Regulars rate the crab sandwich as shrimply the best. They’ll even take text orders for collection!

Say Merhaba to this tremendous Turkish bakery tucked away from the Warwick Street bustle on Stanford Square.
