Worthing Rugby Club are hosting an exciting firewalk on Saturday 17 March as part of their St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
Anyone can take part in the event as long as they are aged 10 or over on the day of the event.
It costs just £20 to register to take part in the firewalk. Participants are encouraged to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100 and can choose to support either St Barnabas House or the Worthing RFC Minis Tour.
Worthing Rugby Club’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations will include an outdoor marquee with a bar and big screen to watch the Six Nations from 2pm onward.
There will also be Irish craft, food and music throughout the day with the firewalk itself taking place at 6:30pm, followed by live music in the evening.
Wendy Bardsley, St Barnabas House Community Fundraising Manager, said: “It’s going to be a really exciting event. Anyone can take part in the firewalk. The £20 registration fee will cover the cost of the event with any sponsorship money raised on top of that going directly to either St Barnabas House or the RFC Minis Tour.”
The event is being run by professional company UK Firewalk who will provide rules and public liability insurance to ensure the safety of participants.
