If it’s somewhere exotic you’d like to go for Easter then ‘The violin will take you’. The next International Interview Concert at St Paul’s, on Easter Sunday, April 1 at 4pm, is a journey with Polish violinist Kamila Bydlowska and Worthing’s much-loved visiting Russian pianist Varvara Tarasova as your young couriers.
They will be Argentine tangoing, Spanish serenading, Polish dancing, German romancing and in a Porgy & Bess fantasia from America’s Deep South. That’s the special flavour of the music between the interviews which the audiences so enjoy in this creative concert format featuring role-model artistes.
Seated intimately In The Round, close to the action, audience members can submit their own questions, the bar-cafe will be open, and Under-19 tickets cost £1, plus there is a pricing for family members. And with extra Interview Concert surprises on the cards it should be a tempting prospect after your Easter lunch.
