Mozart’s Requiem will be performed by Worthing Voices on Saturday 10th March in aid of a local charity which will be chosen the week before the concert.
Worthing Voices will perform with The Anniversary Orchestra, led by Kay Durrant. Conductor Shirley Linford is keen for a big audience to boost support for the chosen charity and so has chosen one of the best-known and much loved requiems.
Spokesman JohnWolstenholme said, “Worthing Voices produce three concerts a year, in addition to appearing in an annual carol service at Lancing College, and the aim is always two-fold: to produce good music and to provide support for a range of deserving local charities. Why not put aside the evening of Saturday 10th March and come and add to that support!”
Entry is free with a retiring collection for the charity.
